Suriname Investment Platform (SIP) is looking for experienced and entrepreneurial international investment brokers with an established network of private and institutional investors.

SIP is a private investment platform that connects qualified international investors with carefully selected and scalable investment opportunities in Suriname. Each project is generally structured through a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), creating transparency in ownership, governance, responsibilities and the allocation of invested capital.

The minimum investment generally starts at USD 100,000, while the average total project value is approximately USD 5 million.

As an international investment broker, you will identify, introduce and support qualified investors interested in investment opportunities in Suriname. These may include high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment funds, pension funds, development finance institutions and strategic corporate investors.

You will act as an international representative of SIP and serve as the first point of contact for investors within your network. You will introduce suitable opportunities, organise initial discussions and support the investment process in close cooperation with SIP and its project partners.

This is an international, remote position with no fixed office location. We particularly welcome candidates with established investor networks in:

• Switzerland;
• Luxembourg;
• The United Kingdom;
• The United Arab Emirates;
• Singapore;
• The United States and Canada;
• Curaçao and the wider Caribbean;
• Guyana;
• Suriname.

• Organise and facilitate online presentations and investor meetings.
• Support the process from the initial introduction through to the completion of an investment.
• Maintain accurate records of investor contacts, discussions, progress and agreements.
• Operate in accordance with applicable compliance, integrity and confidentiality standards.
• Identify relevant international market developments and new sources of capital.
• Provide SIP and its project partners with relevant feedback from the international investment market.

We are looking for an independent and commercially driven professional with proven experience in investment brokerage, corporate finance, private equity, real estate finance, wealth management, fundraising or international business development.

The ideal candidate has:

• An established network of qualified private or institutional investors.
• Experience with investment propositions starting from USD 100,000.
• Knowledge of project finance, SPV structures and international investment transactions.
• Strong commercial, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• The ability to build trust and maintain relationships throughout longer investment processes.
• A professional, discreet and ethical approach.
• The ability to present complex investment opportunities clearly and convincingly.
• An excellent command of English.
• Knowledge of Dutch or other relevant languages as an advantage.
• An affinity with Suriname, the Caribbean or emerging markets.
• The ability to work independently in an international and remote environment.

Engagement model

The role is performed on an independent basis under a broker or cooperation agreement. Compensation is linked to investments successfully completed through the broker’s introductions.

All investor introductions must be registered with SIP in advance. Responsibilities, investor eligibility, confidentiality, compliance obligations and fee arrangements will be documented in writing before the cooperation begins.
